The production of Roland Emmerich movie Alien Invasion ZONE Hide

Roland Emmerich is best known for his explosive, literally, the big budget blockbuster action movies, with a CV as Godzilla, The Patriot, The Day After Tomorrow and 2012. The area would have been a return to the genre of alien invasion, a doomsday scenario last addressed in his masterpiece to date, the massive success of Independence Day (1996).
“Although there has been no official statement from the camp director about the reasons for closure, hit the jump for the latest speculation of rumors. However, although production was well in the test phase, which begins shooting next week, the area has been inexplicably closed with only this cryptic comment from a representative of the director: “This is not a project (Emmerich) is underway at this time.
Although it is not unusual for the genre, as Emmerich most often works with A-listers from the likes of John Cusack, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Mel Gibson, this seems to have been a clear change of tact.Emmerich, known for their large budgets, had been in line to change its approach. Instead of working with your wallet full of custom, the area would be shot on a budget of only U.S. $ 5 million. Perhaps equally intriguing, Heat Vision Reports from the area would be relatively unknown cast, the actors Peter Mackenzie (not so easy) and Brandon Scott, and are based on improvisation.
So what’s the problem with “found footage? Since its reactivation, based on movies like The Blair Witch Project, in which footage shows that, supposedly, the details of the horrible place until the disappearance of cameraman, has been a lot of films on the basis of the presumption. Apart from more obvious examples, most recently Edward Gareth low budget sci-fi and monster movie invasion Paranormal Activity 2, there are reports of a Warner Bros. Dark Moon, who also work in style.
First, it seems likely that the studies are reluctant to invest much more in the focus of found footage. While there has been very successful in recent years, scoring big box office numbers Paranormal Activity 1 and 2 and Cloverfield, the market has become relatively saturated. It is possible that there are two issues involved here, although none has been officially declared as the reason the project was terminated in Emmerich.
In addition, reports last weekend that have been collected Weinstein Co. and Apollo 18, however, another movie found footage, were accompanied by an estimated release date of March, because just before invading the area.
If these are the real reasons or not, it is clear Emmerich senses to another project. We’ll keepWith the end of the tragic saga of the area, perhaps the director could return to common ground.
