STAR TREK two writers Sequel Talk, confirm that you have “broken the story”

By AltBakh

There is a lot of details were in the film (the only important part of information we know now is that Khan will not be the villain), but Kurtzman have confirmed they have broken the story. They are fighting the screenplay with Lost executive producer / executive producer Damon Lindelof, co-wrote the first Trek movie. Kurtzman and Orci talked more about the challenges he has faced while trying to write the sequel to a blockbuster film:While the 2009 sequel to the hugely successful Star Trek is rebooting the system to be released on June 29, 2012, the film is still a form of production like the writers are pounding. Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, who seem to be writing about everything related to science fiction these days, recently sat down with Hero Complex and talked a bit about how the script was.
What moves us on “Trek”? It felt intimate and small … [In this second film] have to find our way back to the same kind of environment we had when he wrote the first: What do we want to see here? I think one of the rare challenges we face in this case is that in many respects, with the first movie, I do not think people knew what to expect, so when we were in the writing process, Bob and I really spend our time go to the things we loved about “Trek” and was a very unfiltered. Where do we go from where we left off?
From what we know about the project so far, and more than Kurtzman and Orci, including whether or not you are planning a trilogy of Star Trek, hit the jump.
I can not speak for everybody in that, though. Talking about if you are thinking about this sequel as the second act in an excess of three acts, the style of The Empire Strikes Back, Orci said, “I know I’ve thought about it in terms of a trilogy … No I’m sure we’re thinking of it as a second act. “I see this as good news. Too tentpole movies these days are configured as a “trilogy”, and suffer from exploitation too far back (I’m looking at you Iron Man 2).
While I’m as excited as any to see what they have in the store, I’m totally fine with Kurtzman, Orci and Lindelof taking all the time they need to hone in on the right script. This is what we know so far: Damon Linedlof hinted that the film can avoid conventional chronology, Khan will not be the villain, but another character in the original series will be, the film is said to begin “in mid-year coming, “and JJ Abrams has yet to sign the director (who will wait until a finished script is submitted to see if he wants to make this his next project, after the Super 8). At this point, not much is known about the sequel to reboot by JJ Abrams exceptional. Sounds like they know how much pressure they face, and wants to ensure that they become the best script that can
