Sony ready to offer the lead Channing Tatum Jonah Hill on 21 Jump Street before

Deadline Sony reports met with a number of young male actors, and found that Tatum had the best chemistry with Hill.Channing Tatum (Dear John) is about to star opposite Jonah Hill (Get Him to the Greek) in the new version of 21 Jump Street.
21 Jump Street is scheduled to hit theaters March 16, 2012. Hill, who co-wrote the screenplay with Michael Bacall (Scott Pilgrim vs. World), says the new version is like “a John Hughes movie, with action-style Bad Boys.” Phil Lord and Chris Miller (Rain meatballs) are heading.
