Noah Baumbach recruits Ben Stiller, James Franco, Greta Gerwig, Cate Blanchett when we are young
Gerwig Stiller and took leading roles in his latest film, Greenberg, Blanchett starred in The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Baumbach’s script, which he co-wrote.The writer and director Noah Baumbach is preparing his next film, while we’re young, and as usual, is sacrifice a great deal. Franco is the only rookie to land Baumbach. Ben Stiller and James Franco are attached to star, with offers to Greta Gerwig and Cate Blanchett.
Vulture tells the story centers on “a couple of free-spirited twentysomething Brooklyn (Franco and Gerwig) who inspires a tense documentary (Stiller) and his wife (Blanchett) to loosen – with comedic consequences.” More after the jump.
Unfortunately, the actress filed for divorce by Mr. Baumbach’s last week. It is rumored that the paper for Blanchett was originally intended for Jennifer Jason Leigh. So … No!.
Should be a good year for fans Baumbach.While We’re Young seems is the first in line, but either way, I think we have a film directed by Noah Baumbach in 2011. In addition, Peter Bogdanovich is producing squirrel a nut and it’s ridiculously credited to the screenplay for the Brett Ratner-Heist Torre. Baumbach also Emperor’s Children (but not Mr. Popper’s penguins) in the pipeline.
